TED talks are all about ideas that are worth spreading and after watching this one, we knew we had to share with all our ArithmaChics. The title may sound a little harsh but by the end of the talk, we were convinced that “30 is the new 20″ can be misleading depending on how you interpret it. We have been saying (and believing) this for a while but Meg Jay makes compelling arguments against this motto. This doesn’t necessarily mean you have to have it all figured out by the time you’re 30 (like most of the earlier generations — times have CHANGED) but it does mean that we have to realize and take advantage of this time in our lives where we are laying the foundation of our adult lives and are more open-minded and open to exploration. Tell us what you think of Jay’s advice in the comments.
